About Us
FurrrNerals was created out of love, compassion, and a deeply personal experience. Two years ago, I had to say goodbye to my beloved 14-year-old Standard Poodle after her long and courageous fight with cancer. She was my constant companion, my family, and my best friend. Over the years, she endured five cancer surgeries, each time fighting her way back to me with strength and grace. When the time finally came to let her go, I knew I couldn’t take her to a cold, clinical vet’s office. She deserved better—a peaceful passing in the comfort of her home, surrounded by love.
But what should have been a tender, sacred moment quickly turned into one of the most stressful experiences of my life. I called for help, only to wait 36 agonizing hours before someone finally came. When they arrived, there was little compassion, no gentleness, no understanding of the heartbreak I was facing. Afterwards, the person who came to take her body was hours late, leaving my sweet girl wrapped on my living room floor far longer than she should have been.
It was in those moments of grief and frustration that I realized families deserve so much more when saying goodbye to their pets. Our furry friends give us unconditional love, and when it’s time to let them go, they deserve dignity, compassion, and respect. I thought to myself: there has to be a better way.
And that is how FurrrNerals was born.

Our mission is to provide care, compassion, and dignity during one of life’s hardest moments. Whether you come to us or we come to you, we are here to help your beloved pet cross the rainbow bridge peacefully and respectfully. From simple backyard burials to unique memorials like turning ashes into diamonds, we are dedicated to honoring the bond you shared with your furry (or feathered, scaled, or finned) family member.

Our Vision
At FurrrNerals, we are dedicated to providing compassionate farewell services for beloved pets while also making a positive impact in our community. Our long-term goal is to be able to help youth aging out of the foster care system by providing employment, mentorship, and affordable housing opportunities. By combining our love for animals with a commitment to social responsibility, we aim to create a meaningful legacy that honors both our furry friends and the vulnerable members of our society.
